Project Unité in Firminy–Interview with Yves Aupetitallot.”

Review

“Cologne was the preferred space, crossroads-like, with the New York scene resulting from the Whitney Program, and the teaching of someone like Craig Owens. Affected by the market crisis and the abandonment of different public programs, these artists, Renee Green, Mark Dion, Andrea Fraser and others, pursued their careers under European auspices which seemed more favourable. Among them, Fareed Armaly played a major role both in putting that scene together, and in the Firminy project.”
